Organic Time Records  

Founded in 2007, Organic Time Records produces music, entertainment, and talk radio programs.

Organic Time Records has produced several one-hour shows for the program entitled “The Art of the Album”, which features a full length album by established musical artists and in studio interviews about the making of the artist's album. Guest artists
have included
The Limeliters and
Michelle Shocked.

Currently, Organic Time Records produces the “Music Scene Live” radio show from  Texas, featuring the best of the local singer/songwriters and bands, both up-and-comers and established, in “live” performance, and can be heard on radio and online.

Host Bios

Allison & Stone

Allison & Stone are published singer/songwriters. Their single, “Reveal Me”, is featured in the sound track for the award winning indie feature film “Broken Blood”. As a songwriting duo, they wrote, performed, engineered and produced a twelve-song album entitled “First”. With sponsorship provided by Captain D's Seafood Restaurants, Allison & Stone's song “STAND”, ships along with donated musical instruments to military service men and women overseas through the charitable organization Operation Happy Note. They have appeared on numerous TV and radio programs, and their single “It's A Perfect Day” has had radio play both domestically and internationally. They continue to enjoy performing at charitable events, community festivals and music venues.

Allison (Allison Balson) is an award-nominated actress, with Film and Television credits including Little House on the Prairie, Best Seller, Legend of the White Horse, and most recently Broken Blood. She is the host and producer of the radio show “The Art of the Album”, and is the celebrity spokesperson for the nonprofit, Operation Happy Note. Allison holds a BA from Princeton University, and a MBA from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland.

Stone is an award-winning solo guitarist, sound engineer, mixer and producer. He designed and built a state-of-the-art recording studio in Los Angeles, CA. Stone holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

May 2016

Host/Producer of Music Scene Live, Allison Balson, was honored to perform a set of original songs with Stone at the Fort Worth Songwriter Association's Spring Showcase. The showcase took place at the Buffalo West Restaurant in Fort Worth, TX. All and all six members of the FWSA performed original songs, and all enjoyed great BBQ, and cold drinks on a beautiful spring day!

October 2015

Host/Producer of Music Scene Live, Allison Balson, will be attending  *Billy The Kid Western Film Festival in Hico, Texas as a celebrity guest. The Festival runs from October 16-18. Allison will be on hand to meet and greet fans of Western themed Flm & TV shows, sign autographs and participate in Q&A panels. Music Scene Live is going on-the-road to record a radio show in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the famous music venue The Garage! This special show to be recorded on Thursday July 9th, 8:00pm, is a free admission show and will feature one of the most talented and respected bands from North Carolina -- The Bo-Stevens.

Also, while in Winston-Salem, Allison will be appearing as celebrity guest at the 34th annual Western Film Fair and Nostalgia Convention.

  "Celebrating Classic Film and Television of the Golden Era"

A convention that showcases western themed film celebrities, western themed nostalgic collectables, and has all-day screenings of the best-of-the-best western themed movies and television series. Their mission is to celebrate this great genre of American Western themed classics and raise money for the nonprofit organization The Western Film Preservation Society.

March 2015

In conjunction with the Fort Worth Songwriters Association (FWSA), Music Scene Live is going on-the-road to record several Texas based singer/songwriters  in "live" performance of their original music at this year's Main St Fort Worth Arts Festival, April 9-12. We will be recording shows live at the wine tent music stage, so come on out and enjoy these great artists in "live" performance, some great food, and art!

is to produce a free, high-quality, annual arts festival that promotes the diversity, vibrancy and life of Downtown Fort Worth; to promote the qualities of Downtown to regional and national audience; and to contribute to the overall quality of life for Downtown Fort Worth residents.

August 2013

Music Scene Live is going on-the-road to record several local Texas musicians "live" from Pilot Point Texas on Saturday August 17th in benefit of Jay Melugin to help him in his efforts to raise the roof of his radio station WPNT 91.9FM and Jay's Café which caught fire a few years ago.

A lot of local bands and musicians have come together to put on this benefit to help Jay who lost just about everything in the fire. Bands performing at the benefit event include: Ty Young, Stage Lee, The Lauren Kent Band, and the Twisted Pistol Band. Music Scene Live is proud to help spread the word about Jay's goals in his rebuilding of the radio station and café, and invite all to come out to the benefit to enjoy some great "live" original Texas music, food and a silent raffle.

Music Scene Live is an official Media Sponsor of the Wildflower Art and Music Festival, Dallas, TX. Allison & Stone will be recording Music Scene Live on-the-road "live" from this year's festival on Sunday May 19th, 2013 to bring some of the outstanding Texas based musical artists performing original music at this year's festival to the radio show. Wildflower is an award-winning, multi-day eclectic arts and music festival featuring six performance stages.

The Fort Worth Music Festival is a 2-day event, Friday May 17 and Sat May 18, that celebrates Fort Worth’s deep musical roots.  The Festival presents Pop, Indie Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Texas Country- in total 24 bands on 3 stages during 2 days. In addition the Fest features artwork exhibits, culinary offerings presented by area chefs and unique local vendors.  The Fort Worth Music Fest is a collection of those creative forces which make Fort Worth a growing vibrant city. The Fort Worth Music Festival benefits the Fort Worth Community Food Bank.

Music Scene Live radio show will begin airing on KLSR 1650AM in the Dallas, TX area, beginning Sat. February 23rd. Music Scene Live is an official media sponsor for the Celina Balloon Festival  & Family Fun Day, October 27 and 28, 2012. Come out and join the fun! will be a judge at the first annual Thirsty's Throwdown, a "live" music event which features  twelve Texas based bands in "live" performance competing for the judges and the fans in hopes of becoming the Throwdown Champion band by The Thirsty Armadillo!
